IOP (Intensive Out-Patient) Program: Through motivational and educational lectures, this program provides education on alcohol and drugs and the effects they have on an individual. Individual strengths and limitations will be identified in order to better individualize the type of treatment a client receives. Clients will learn skills to enhance personal functioning in treatment as well as their daily lives. They will also gain a support network in order to acheive long term abstinence. Treatment is a combination of psycho-education and group therapy. Residential housing at our South Bend facility is available for clients throughout the recovery process. Aftercare: This final step in treatment lasts approximately 26 weeks and is designed to provide a support network for the individual to help prevent relapse. Through a group setting, personal relapse triggers will be identified and clients will be taught how to best cope with the new challenges they face. Family Counseling: Successful treatment is often dependent on a strong, supportive network of family and friends. Family counseling helps to get family members involved in the recovery process. These sessions allow family members to relay any questions or concerns about treatment and also learn appropriate ways to support the client, but not enable them. Case Management: One-on-one individualized care is a priority at Life Treatment Centers. Throughout the entire treatment process, a professional addictions counselor will provide valuable life skill development, vocational rehabilitation and placement, as well as medical assistance. Case management begins as soon as a client walks through our doors and continues,as needed, well after a restored individual exits. Life Treatment Centers case managing counselors are dedicated to providing the best possible care and committed to their clients.
Life Treatment Centers would like to express our gratitude to the Community Foundation of St. Joseph County for their financial support of the 2005 Restore-A-Life Campaign to renovate the men's transitional halfway house. Thank you! |
